Right now, we’re looking for a


to join our finance department team in Kuopio. Start date of the employment can be negotiated but preferably the selected person can start as soon as possible.

Our financial team oversees the company’s internal and external accounting functions, financing, and management of general and human resource management matters. The team produces information for management as well as for numerous stakeholders. We use L7 ERP system that also includes financial administration programs.

The main task of the Financial Controller is to develop and maintain the control function for the entire company. You will serve as an expert of external accounting for the financial team, working closely with the CFO with matters related to corporate finance, administration, financing and company development.

You can take on tasks independently, and developing policies and systems motivates you. At the same time, you are also able to take care of routine tasks. We’re looking for a systematic and precise person who can work flexibly and creatively, for example in situations that require prioritizing and development. You will already be familiar with financial management processes, group reporting, and you have a clear overall understanding of business processes. You use ERP systems and reporting tools routinely. Prior experience in using the L7 ERP system is a significant advantage.

Your tasks include monthly and quarterly reporting for different activities, annual budgeting and forecasting, reporting to subsidiaries, and preparing monthly financial statements together with the financial team and accounting firm. In addition, the tasks include diverse and varied tasks in administration and finance.

To succeed in the task, you must have:

  • Strong financial, management accounting and accounting skills
  • Previous experience in similar tasks (control function)
  • Appropriate training (BBA, MSc Economics and Business Administration)
  • Experience in using and maintaining an ERP system
  • Excellent Excel skills and readiness to learn new information systems
  • A development-oriented approach
  • Fluent English and Finnish language skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
