Workshop with the NHS: Preparing Cytostatic Medicines for Use in the UK

NewIcon’s product development staff gained good ideas for the development of a new medicine robot from UK pharmacy professionals in October 2017.

The workshop was attended by professionals from the UK’s public health care system, the National Health Service (NHS). The workshop focused on the process of different NHS units preparing cytostatic medicines for use in cancer treatment. According to the NHS experts, the UK has a lot to learn from countries that are more digitally advanced in the delivery and storage of medicines.
